Edwards & Sandborn Solar Energy Storage
The Edwards & Sandborn Solar and Energy Storage project will be the world’s largest solar plus energy project at the time of completion. Coffman provided third party peer review for the project’s general contractor, Mortenson, who built the project in partnership with the renewable energy developer, Terra-Gen. The project consists of almost two million solar panels and 120,000+ batteries installed in a variety of enclosure types. Coffman provided electrical, fire protection, mechanical, acoustical, civil, structural, and corrosion peer review, as well as factory acceptance testing support and site commissioning services.
