RNG Truck Offloading Facility
Coffman provided civil, electrical, industrial mechanical, structural, instrumentation, and controls engineering services for a renewable natural gas (RNG) truck offloading facility in North Carolina. The facility allows up to four customers and eight trucks to offload RNG. The project consisted of hose posts, pressure reduction decanting (~3600psig to ~200psig), re-compression, gas metering, and injection into a transmission pipeline.
