Shoreline Gateway East Tower

The Shoreline Gateway development is a 35-story residential and mixed-use tower established as the tallest building in Long Beach at the time of its construction. The Tower provides 315 apartments above 6,460 sf of ground-floor retail space, five levels of subterranean parking, and amenity decks on the third floor and the roof. The project will provide unparalleled 360° views of Long Beach, the Pacific Ocean, Catalina Island, Orange County, and Downtown Los Angeles.

Coffman was proud to support the Carrier Johnson + Culture team by providing fire protection engineering and life safety consulting. Services for the project included: reviews for code compliance, negotiating complex building and fire code issues with the Long Beach Fire Department, coordination of fire protection system requirements, and high-rise smoke control system consulting, including the development of the smoke control rational analysis report.
