Meter Station and Lateral

Coffman provided industrial mechanical, civil, structural, and electrical engineering for a new 4,” 2,300 ft natural gas pipeline and meter station to receive biogas from the county facility and deliver to a 6” transmission pipeline, operating at 975-psig (MAOP). Engineering included a new Coriolis meter skid, two gas analysis and electronic flow measurement skids, remote station isolation valves, and over pressure protection valves to prevent over-pressuring the pipeline, pipeline blowdowns, and pipeline hot tap on the 10″ transmission line. Analysis equipment included a gas chromatograph, moisture, oxygen, and H2S/total sulfur. Telecomm equipment with data radio was also included.
