Amestoy Elementary School
Coffman provided fire alarm and fire sprinkler design services for the Amestoy Elementary School New Classroom Building project, which removed 12 existing portable classrooms and replaced them with permanent new construction. The multi-phased project included two phases of interim housing for ten classrooms and a new 26,000 sf, two-story classroom building on the existing 100k sf school campus. The new building houses six kindergarten classrooms, six general classrooms, a teacher workroom, meeting spaces, and outdoor learning environments to provide students with 21st Century Learning Environments and to continue developing their STEAM Academy.
The fire protection scope involved the design and installation of a new fire alarm system throughout the entire existing 100,000 sf elementary school. Coffman also designed a new fire alarm system and fire sprinkler system for the new building. Coffman performed the fire alarm and fire sprinkler design services using Revit.
