Design experience as broad as it is deep.

For decades, oil and gas producers of all sizes have relied on Coffman’s multidiscipline engineering to help them reduce costs, improve safety, and optimize operations. Coffman’s specialized team of oil, gas, refinery, and petrochemical engineers hold licenses in most U.S. states and territories, with certifications from organizations such as the National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE) and the American Petroleum Institute (API), supporting work throughout Alaska, Hawaii, and the lower 48 states.

This experience supports a fit-for-purpose engineering approach allowing our engineers to respond efficiently while maintaining focus on the big picture. Practical solutions are developed in partnership with clients to align with real-world operating conditions and project requirements, whether for a single system or a complex, capital-intensive facility.

Our project experience reflects a strong emphasis on safety and industrial acumen. Examples include replacing a 10-inch pipeline with a 16-inch pipeline while in operation using specialized techniques only a few oil and gas engineering companies in the world can perform, modifying a marine pipeline to allow for in-line inspection where it was previously not feasible, and supporting multiyear contracts for the country’s largest distribution networks.

Safety
Safety is our priority and is integrated into all phases of work through an in-house program that guides how we think and work. These processes heighten awareness, provide accountability, maintain compliance with governmental and industry regulations, and promote safe, reliable project execution.
