Town of Cary Paramount Pump Station

Coffman provided electrical engineering services for the Paramount Pump Station (PS) upgrade in Cary, North Carolina. The station was converted to utilize submersible pumps, replacing the existing suction lift pumps.

As part of the improvements, Coffman’s scope included evaluating the adequacy of the pump station’s capacity; designing site lighting enhancements to improve security, operations, and maintenance; replacing the existing on-site generator; assessing the consolidation of two existing influent lines into a single line via a new manhole; evaluating options for integrating the pump station with the Town’s SCADA system; and upgrading electrical systems. These upgrades aimed to improve operational efficiency, reliability, and safety at the facility.
