The Battery Atlanta – Block C Development

Coffman provided fire protection and life safety consulting for Atlanta Braves mixed-use development. The development included a new Braves stadium and mixed-use development to surround the stadium. The Braves organization hired JLL to serve as the Owner’s representative. Through JLL, the Braves have hired Wakefield Beasley to design the retail, residential, parking, office and entertainment buildings which will comprise the mixed-use development surrounding the stadium. A major component of the complex was the high-rise office tower and connected Plaza, which was shared with SunTrust Park as well as a 16-story OMNI hotel. The mixed-use development also included four multi-family blocks (534-units), with street level retail, designed utilizing a podium configuration and integrated parking garage. Additionally, the development included an Entertainment Block, comprised of a 3,800 seat intimate concert venue and a four-story Class A office building.
