Steam Flaked Corn Processing Line
The process of steam flaking corn involves steaming shelled corn and flattening it, which makes the end product more easily digestible by livestock. To better support their agricultural clients, AgriNorthwest added a new steam corn flaker to their facility in Plymouth, Washington. Coffman provided civil, structural, electrical, and industrial mechanical engineering for the additional process line, which is the largest commercial corn flaker in the Columbia Basin.
