Snoqualmie Pedestrian Bridge Damage Assessment

Coffman’s bridge team performed a damage assessment on the pedestrian bridge servicing the Salish Lodge at Snoqualmie Falls. The bridge provides pedestrian access between the parking lot to the Snoqualmie Falls overlook, and Salish Lodge featuring the world famous 270’ waterfall, visited by more than 1.5 M people every year

When the bridge was struck by an over height vehicle, the Coffman bridge team inspected the bridge from a man lift to determine the damage severity and extents. Upon completion of the inspection, Coffman prepared a report outlining the observations, provided recommendations for the current use, and provided repair details required to bring the bridge back to its pre-collision capacity.
