Public Storage Projects Nationwide

Public Storage has more than 2,400 nationwide properties and desired to identify improvement opportunities for new properties under development, as well as with existing properties. The buildings vary based on the property but are generally multi-story 120,000+ sf self-storage facilities.

Coffman developed new prototypical design guidelines and details for multiple site conditions and scenarios together with the architect. Coffman provided mechanical, electrical, structural, and fire protection engineering as the multidiscipline engineering team lead. In addition, Coffman managed multiple AE teams producing construction documents for new properties to maintain the new standards.
