Bank of Hawaii Headquarters and Private Banking

Bank of Hawaii is a regional financial services company serving Hawaii and the Pacific and has led the industry with its innovative “Branch of Tomorrow” banking concepts and focus on customer service and personal interactions. The same focus is infused throughout the company’s new Headquarters and private banking suites in downtown Honolulu.

The centerpiece of the two floor, 23,000 sf complete tenant improvement is the private banking areas which include a reception area, conference area, meeting rooms, and restrooms that embrace the company’s brand. Other features include a modern open office, break room, and restrooms for bank employees.

Coffman provided electrical, mechanical, and fire protection engineering, and architectural lighting design from project conception through construction administration. Specific engineering work included the relocation of an existing server room, removal and replacement of HVAC distribution to a variable air volume unit, electrical distribution, fire alarm, and fire protection systems, and lighting design and controls throughout the space.
