Otay Mesa Detention Center

Coffman provided structural engineering services on this design-build facility consisting of one-story and two-story structures totaling 350,000 sf. Administration, healthcare, recreation, classrooms, kitchen, and dining spaces are included. The two-story buildings provide individual cell blocks totaling approximately 1,500 beds, a common inmate area, and a guard/management area.
