NAVFAC Command Records Storage
Coffman worked with the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) to renovate an existing underground facility into a base records storage facility. Additionally, NAVFAC required a building that provided long term environmental control of paper and electronic documents, while including a robust fire protection system. Coffman was heavily involved with the design during demolition and construction and provided civil, mechanical, electrical, structural, and fire protection engineering on the design-build project.
