National Law Enforcement Museum

The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial and Museum located in Washington, DC’s Judiciary Square honors federal, state, and local law enforcement officers who died in the line of duty. Ever-changing, the memorial and museum memorialize the life of law enforcement officers and is updated with new names of fallen officers each spring. Coffman provided fire protection engineering services for the museum which includes 57,000 sf of below-ground interior space with two aboveground entrance pavilion structures. Coffman performed a review of the smoke control system installed within the facility to confirm that the smoke control system was adequately coordinated between the major design disciplines and that the system functions properly and meets code requirements.
