Milken Center for the Advancement of the American Dream (MCAAD)

The Milken Center for the Advancement of the American Dream (MCAAD) project will include the renovation of three existing buildings in Washington, DC (730 15th Street, 1501 Pennsylvania Avenue, and 1503-1505 Pennsylvania Avenue). The three buildings will be combined into a single structure and will contain museum and event space, conference/meeting space, offices, and a private club. 1501 and 1503-1505 Pennsylvania Avenue are historic banking hall structures, while 730 15th Street is a ten-story office building with two basement levels and a penthouse. The proposed work will include a new atrium structure to connect the three buildings, as well as additional levels added on top of the historic banking hall buildings. The project will be completed in phases and when complete will encompass more than 200,000 square feet. Phase l of the project will include the renovation of 730 15th Street, while Phase ll will include the renovation of 1501 Pennsylvania Avenue and 1503-1505 Pennsylvania Avenue, as well as the connections between the three buildings. The work encompassed services for Phase ll only.
