Horton Plaza Improvement Project

Coffman provided structural engineering services for the renovation of the existing Horton Plaza and expansion south to the north side of the Horton Theatre.

Revitalization of the 54,000 sf historic site included a new amphitheater, eight architectural luminaries, an interactive pop jet fountain, restoration of the iconic Park and Broadway Fountain to its original design, layout and operation, planters, site furniture, canopies, and other shade structures.

The structural scope of work also included site retaining walls, three new permanent retail kiosks and small site structures, such as restrooms, storage and operations, and mechanical equipment.
