Several exhibits are offered within the Denver Zoo’s Asian Tropics expansion project. Shotcrete (pneumatically placed concrete) was used for the design to create a natural look for moat walls, waterfalls, pools, barriers, planters and boulders. Additional design features include artificial trees and vines for the Leopard, Gibbon Island Exhibit and Elephant Exhibits.
