Cedars-Sinai Medical Center North Tower Renovation

As part of an overall campus master plan, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is establishing new clinics and expanding its programs. Due to department shifts throughout the campus, the lower level of the main hospital North Patient Tower, was left with vacant spaces. Coffman served as the electrical and low voltage consulting team for tenant improvements to approximately 31,000 sf of the North Tower lower level and approximately 2,000 sf of the street-level lobby and exterior entry area.

Renovations to the OSHPD 1 facility occurred over multiple phases. They involved several departments, including Breath Test, Admissions and Central Waiting, IBD, PB/SB, GI Motility, Therapeutic Apheresis, Ambulatory Infusion, and Radiation Oncology. The resulting renovations provided a new patient waiting area with a more intuitive patient flow, expanding the Radiation Oncology Clinic and Radiation Treatment program. The electrical scope of work included power, lighting, low voltage, a security system, and a nurse call system.
