BasX Expansion

Coffman provided mechanical and electrical engineering design for the adaptive reuse, expansion, and addition to the BasX manufacturing plant in Redmond, Oregon. The existing manufacturing building expansion included a 20,000 sf high bay manufacturing space configured with two overhead gantry cranes moving equipment and large rollup doors to allow drive through vehicle access for equipment transport. The project also included a two-story 10,000 sf office addition with a new elevator and data room. The mechanical scope included circulation fans, gas unit heaters, outdoor air units for ventilation, energy recovery ventilator and exhaust, compressed air for the warehouse space, and a VRF system and plumbing for the office space.
