Coffman Announces Four Principals for 2025

New Shareholders

April 24, 2025 — Coffman is pleased to announce the election of four new shareholders as part of the leadership announcements following the annual shareholders’ meeting held on March 22. New principal ownership is critical for Coffman’s growth and health. This year’s group includes strong leaders who represent various engineering disciplines and markets across the country. New shareholders include Jeff Brace, PE (Anchorage); Latrice Celio, PE (Dallas); Mike Ernst, PE (Atlanta); and Rae Ferriolo, PE (San Diego).

Jeff Brace, PE, is a civil engineering principal in our Anchorage office, bringing years of experience leading commercial and federal projects. His extensive portfolio includes managing design-build and design-bid-build projects for the military across Alaska, the West Coast, Hawaii, and Guam, as well as overseeing commercial site design, and water and sewer utility installations. His depth of experience with local and national institutions and coordinating with stakeholders and permitting agencies makes him an asset in complex infrastructure projects.

He has also been a long-time steward of our culture through his mentorship and training of staff. Latrice Celio, PE, is our Dallas office manager and electrical engineering principal. Her background includes work experience in commercial, industrial, higher education, and government facilities such as office buildings, medical facilities, energy conservation studies, clean rooms, master plan studies, and commercial kitchens. Coming from a military family and having heard the statement “support the mission” many times in her life, she approaches projects with that mindset. She considers it an honor to have a small part in their mission’s success.

“As Coffman’s first principal in the State of Texas, Latrice is paving the way for future leaders. Her mentorship is irreplaceable, and we are happy to have her lead Coffman’s Texas team,” said Mike Crowley, PE, FSFPE, Principal Advisor, Operations Manager, Texas.

Mike Ernst, PE, is our Atlanta office’s operations manager and fire protection engineering principal. He brings significant experience in life safety code analysis, fire sprinkler/alarm systems design, and performance-based design. He has also built a reputation as a subject matter expert in loss investigation. Mike has been instrumental in the growth and development of the Southeast Region.

His contributions have elevated our standards and further strengthened our reputation. As Principal, Mike will continue to shape the future of the Atlanta office. Rae Ferriolo, PE, is an electrical engineering principal in our San Diego office. She works on a diverse range of projects, including laboratory and life science facilities, healthcare facilities, education campuses, mixed-use residential and hospitality developments, military spaces, and recreational facilities. Her commitment to the community is reflected in her work, designing projects that support veterans, provide children with places to learn and play, and bring sustainable energy to the city.

“Rae is a natural-born leader whose charisma garners followership wherever she goes. She has excellent leadership and organizational skills and is going to be outstanding in this role, helping to preserve our San Diego culture and business,” said Scott Twele, PE, DBIA, President and Southwest Regional Managing Principal.
