Meet Rae

Rae is a principal and the San Diego office operations manager. Rae’s passion for electrical engineering shines through in her experience and leadership on a diverse range of projects, including laboratory and life science facilities, healthcare facilities, education campuses, mixed-use residential and hospitality developments, military spaces, and recreational facilities. Her background in sustainable design allows her to skillfully apply various building codes to create comfortable, budget-friendly spaces that meet owner objectives.

Her commitment to the community is reflected in her work, designing projects that support veterans, provide children with places to learn and play, and bring sustainable energy to the city. She loves engineering and consulting with other engineers, architects, owners and contractors, but her favorite part has always been mentoring younger engineers, guiding them to become well-rounded and knowledgeable consultants. She finds joy in learning something new every day, especially from the engineers she mentors.

Her enthusiasm for the industry shines through in her ability to create impactful projects that benefit the community, support various groups, and promote sustainable practices. This blend of technical expertise, community focus, and mentorship has defined her role as a principal, where she continues to make a positive impact on both the industry and the community.
