Meet Rae
Rae serves as the General Manager of Coffman’s San Diego office. Having been part of the office since its founding, she has played an integral role in its growth and success. In addition to leading the office, Rae oversees operations, supports employee development, and works closely with clients and project teams to embrace a collaborative culture and deliver exceptional service.
An electrical engineering Principal, Rae has contributed to a diverse range of projects, including laboratory and life science facilities, healthcare facilities, education campuses, mixed-use residential and hospitality developments, military spaces, and recreational facilities. Her background in sustainable design allows her to skillfully apply various building codes to create comfortable, budget-friendly spaces that meet owner objectives.
Through her work, Rae has helped develop projects that support veterans, create spaces where children can learn and play, and advance sustainable energy initiatives. While she enjoys collaborating with engineers, architects, owners, and contractors, her greatest professional satisfaction has always been mentoring younger engineers and guiding them to develop into well-rounded and knowledgeable consultants. She finds joy in continuous learning and values the opportunity to learn alongside the individuals she mentors.
