VA Illiana Health Care Center
Coffman provided fire protection engineering services for the VA Illiana Health Care Center in Danville, Illinois, a facility dedicated to providing essential care to those who have served our nation.
This project involved upgrading the existing fire alarm and emergency notification systems in Buildings 58 and 98. As part of the scope, Coffman oversaw the full replacement of the existing infrastructure with new, fully addressable fire alarm systems. This included the installation of fire alarm control panels, smoke detectors, heat detectors, horn strobes, annunciator panels, and associated wiring.
To meet VA requirements, the project also incorporated new voice notification systems and strobes, enhancing both safety and communication capabilities across the facility.
