T3 West Midtown Atlanta

Coffman provided fire protection engineering and life safety design services for the new T3 West Midtown building located at Atlantic Station in the flourishing Midtown submarket of Atlanta. The T3 West Midtown project consists of a six-story mass timber structure with approximately 231,535 sf of office space. The office building offers amenities including fitness, dining, roof-top terraces, bike storage, and collaboration areas.

Coffman negotiated a critical design issue with the City of Atlanta with respect to the allowable building height imposed by the building codes for mass timber structures. Through an equivalence, Coffman was able to successfully negotiate acceptance of the building’s proposed building height.
