San Diego Zoo Safari Park Mombasa Village

The Mombasa Village Improvement project included expansion of the existing wood deck over Mombasa Lagoon, several new steel shade structures for guests, a new children’s play area in the form of a beached African dhow boat, a new bar area and replacement of deteriorating existing decking and framing. Nairobi Village and Mombasa Lagoon are located at the center of the San Diego Zoo Safari Park.
