Ridgeline High School

Due to the rapid development of the Spokane Valley area, a new high school was critical to support the community. Ridgeline High School is the first new high school to be built in Spokane in 24 years and increased the capacity of students in the Central Valley School District by 1,600.

Coffman has a long history working with the Central Valley School District for many years, including multiple elementary schools, a warehouse building, and survey work. Coffman provided structural and electrical engineering for this new 240,000 sf, two-story high school in Spokane Valley, WA. The facility includes three classroom wings, a commons area, a gymnasium, field house, auxiliary PE room, weight room, wresting room, locker rooms, library, makerspace rooms, band and choir rooms, and a theater with a three-quarter fly loft. Structural services included design of the building and several outbuildings. Electrical design included electrical service and power distribution, interior lighting, telephone/data service and distribution, fire alarm, and sound systems for gyms, commons, wrestling, and band/choir rooms. The Spokane Valley community is excited for students to learn in this much needed new high school facility.
