Pechanga Recreation Center

Coffman provided structural and seismic engineering for Pechanga Recreation Center in San Diego. The Pechanga tribe decided to build a recreation facility for exclusive use by the community to support the expanding and thriving Pechanga Reservation population. The two-story, 89,000 sf recreation center includes a gymnasium, locker rooms, bowling lanes, a billiards room, arcade, classrooms, and other assembly spaces.

Outdoor amenities include a competition swimming pool, spa, and support facilities. Upon completion of the rec center, Coffman provided subsequent tenant improvements for an outdoor fireplace and rooftop mechanical equipment.
