Major General William H. Gourley VA-DOD Outpatient Clinic

Coffman, as RGD Acoustics Inc., provided full acoustic design services for the Major General William H. Gourley VA-DOD Outpatient Clinic in Marina, California. The 150,000 sf outpatient clinic was the first of its kind in the nation, to serve active-duty service members, veterans and their families. The facility offers a complete range of services including primary care, pediatric, and specialty ambulatory clinics, an eye care clinic, indoor-outdoor physical therapy suite, audiology and speech pathology suites, a mental health center, imaging, and laboratory services, and more. Scope of services included evaluating mechanical noise from existing and proposed hospital and medical office building on adjacent residences to provide interior acoustic privacy and comfort.
