Illinois Natural Gas Meter Station

Coffman provided mechanical, structural, civil, and electrical services for a client with one of the largest pipeline networks spanning across the United States. Our team designed a delivery meter station to accommodate gas flow rates with a total flow of 324 MMscf/D and a design pressure of 1,000 psig. The new station includes three meter runs, two runs with 10 inch ultrasonic flow meters, and the third run with a two inch Coriolis meter for low flow conditions. A new filter/separator was installed upstream to protect the pipeline from liquids by catching and emptying liquid into a condensate receiver and using high level alarms.
