CSU San Marcos Kellogg Library

The Kellogg Library is a five story, steel-framed structure with the lower two levels buried into an existing hillside. The upper four stories incorporate steel moment frames, while the lower story consists of brace frame and concrete shear wall construction to resist the pressure from the existing hillside. The building blends traditional library functions with advanced technology and features traditional library stack, curriculum and periodical spaces and a media library center, classrooms, research services and food service spaces.
