Coffman provided fire protection engineering and life safety code consulting for two high-rise multifamily towers. The towers rise nine and ten stories above a shared underground parking garage and feature 561 apartment units with extensive indoor and outdoor amenity spaces, totaling more than 600,000 square feet.

Coffman’s services included comprehensive code analysis, code compliance drawing reviews, and coordination with code officials. A distinctive aspect of this project was its high-rise construction using a light-gauge steel frame structure, utilizing Type IB and reduced to IIA construction.
