Aegis Laurelhurst Assisted Living Facility

Coffman provided structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering for a new 148,000 sf, seven-story assisted living and memory care facility in Seattle, Washington. The building consisted of three levels of wood framing over a two-story, post-tensioned concrete podium, which included a cinema, an underground parking garage, and an exterior courtyard. The project was located on a steep site, which required shoring and three-story concrete retaining walls, as well as a mat foundation due to the high groundwater table.
