UCLA Bradley Commissary Kitchen and DeNeve Bakery and Kitchen Renovations

Coffman provided electrical engineering services for renovations to the existing Bradley Hall Commissary Kitchen and the existing De Neve Bakery and Kitchen on the UCLA undergraduate campus.

The Bradley Hall Commissary project included the replacement of an existing 8,400 sf, second-floor catering kitchen with a central commissary kitchen. The electrical design included extending the emergency feeder from Dykstra Hall and setting an automatic transfer switch and emergency switchboard to service all walk-in refrigerators and freezers.

The De Neve Undergraduate Dining facility portion involved renovations to the 11,600 sf back-of-house area. The electrical scope included modifying the existing electrical system to expand the bakery, relocating production platforms, and installing new food service equipment. The design utilized existing panelboards and provided a new emergency panelboard.
