Roney Palace/1 Hotel South Beach

The Roney Palace and 1 Hotel South Beach is an 18-story luxury condominium complex and adjacent resort in Miami Beach, Florida. Coffman provided fire protection engineering services to replace the fire alarm system control equipment at the property. The existing buildings, consisting of 568 private residences and 579 hotel units, share a common fire alarm control system/command center. The existing system is a Siemens MXL-V which was phased out by Siemens. Coffman services included verifying the design and installation of the replacement life safety system in phases and commissioning.
