Rock Ridge Pump Station

Coffman provided electrical, water, and wastewater engineering services for the Rock Ridge Pump Station in Anacortes, Washington. The project included design modifications and additions to the existing pumps that were not providing enough head pressure for the upper elevation homes. Replacement of the residential booster pumps and an increased fire pump impeller were specified with the challenge of using an existing generator as the emergency power source. The pump station improvements provided additional water pressure and additional flow during peak residential demand times and fire flow events.
