GSA Colorado Risk Management Surveys

The US General Services Administration (GSA) requires that fire protection risk management surveys (RMS) be performed for leased properties every eight years. Coffman performed surveys of five GSA-leased properties in the Denver and Lakewood area.

During the survey, Coffman’s fire protection engineers documented the existing conditions of the building’s fire and life safety systems. Following the survey, Coffman performed a fire and life safety code analysis of the existing building conditions, completed GSA’s template RMS checklists, and prepared Fire Protection Facility Assessment Reports (FPFARs) which identified life safety deficiencies, categorized them by Risk Assessment Code (RAC), and provided recommendations for correction.
