Galena Sewer Repair CIPP Evaluation

The City of Galena, located in rural Alaska, experienced a failed pressure sewer force main pipe. Coffman provided civil engineering for the evaluation of repair options. The expedited design was completed in less than two weeks to repair a failed force main that discharged into the existing wastewater lagoon. The pipe failure occurred in the late summer, requiring an emergency repair in order to prevent overflow and service disruption to a nearby boarding school campus. Coffman also provided on-site construction inspections to support the City during construction.
