Coffman’s Southeast Region is pleased to broaden our engineering services with the addition of senior mechanical engineer Matthew Kimball, PE. He brings diverse project experience to the region specializing in laboratory and manufacturing projects in the higher education, pharmaceutical, and manufacturing industries.

Matt has experience designing industrial air handling units (AHUs), pharmaceutical clean room AHU’s, and has experience with large commercial laboratory AHU’s. His experience also includes chilled water, steam, and heating hot water systems. Matt specializes in NIH design requirements for purified water, compressed air, vacuum, and specialty/veterinary gas systems; NFPA 99 requirements for medical gas systems; ASME BPE and FDA requirements for USP water, water for injection, and clean steam systems; clean room air handling units; pressurization plans; US and EU GMP clean room classifications; and HEPA filtration. He can help the local area with pharmaceutical/biotech manufacturing clean utility designs, design systems for local university/pharmaceutical laboratories, or help design additional healthcare facility spaces. With a large and diverse team of mechanical engineers and designers to support your endeavors, Coffman is committed to delivering quality engineering services whatever your needs may be.

Matt is also a graduate of North Carolina State University and is a licensed mechanical engineer. He is a family man, Green Bay Packers fan, and is a certified Universal EPA Refrigerant technician.
