Meet Rob.

Rob is a project management principal in Coffman’s Anchorage office and a registered civil engineer, structural engineer, and project management professional. Rob specializes in industrial projects for petroleum facilities, liquified natural gas facilities, refineries, and terminals.

Rob is a dynamic engineer well-versed in multidiscipline engineering design projects and excels at problem-solving, planning, and project implementation skills, from design through construction. He is proficient in providing project management, structural engineering, design, and construction management for all types and sizes of projects. Rob’s management experience includes projects for upstream and downstream oil and gas clients. Upstream North Slope projects include conceptual studies, facility development plans, mitigation of subsidence to existing pipelines, pre-engineered metal buildings, and truckable module design, including installation and connection to existing facility infrastructure. Downstream project experience includes project management, engineering and design, and onsite field engineering for petroleum facilities capital and turnaround projects.

The project management group at Coffman works to strengthen the entire multidiscipline team by providing qualified technical project managers/engineers for larger projects, allowing technical staff to focus on the design details. This effort includes mentoring and training employees on project management processes and building client relationships.

Outside of the office, Rob is involved in the alpine skiing community in Alaska. He participated as a volunteer ski coach for the Alyeska Ski Club for more than ten years and currently sits as a club board member. But his favorite skiing pupils are his two children.
