Meet Mike
Mike is a seasoned fire protection engineer with two decades of experience in fire protection engineering and consulting. He joined the Coffman in 2018, bringing experience in life safety code analysis, fire sprinkler/alarm systems design, and performance-based design. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and is a Design Build Institute of America (DBIA) accredited professional.
As the second team member of the Coffman Atlanta office, Mike has been instrumental in the growth and development of the Southeast Region and acts as the Operations Manager for Atlanta. In addition to Mike’s passion for fire protection engineering, he has experience in forensics work. Throughout Mike’s tenure in the field, he has also developed a large emphasis on mentoring others with strategic guidance.
Mike has called Atlanta home for most of his life. Along with spending quality time with his family, Mike enjoys outdoor activities such as playing golf and maintaining a pristine lawn with Augusta National as inspiration.
