Meet Lilay
Lilay is the chief financial officer and a principal for Coffman Engineers. She previously served as the corporate controller for the company. She has many years of accounting experience in various industries and is a Certified Public Accountant who oversees the accounting department. Lilay’s forward-thinking strategy and collaborative management style correlate with Coffman’s culture of teamwork. Lilay’s core beliefs of striving for improvement have translated into a successful accounting and finance career. Her team is also working with a goal in mind of always trying to improve and become more efficient.
Lilay is responsible for a wide range of accounting, E&O insurance, and finance functions, including financial reporting, compliance with GAAP, budget planning, forecasting, and administering Coffman’s yearly audits.
Lilay’s long term strategy is focused on improving the company’s operational/financial systems and the betterment of people. She strongly believes in a team approach by allowing team members to be free thinkers and giving them space to think, collaborate, and propose innovative ways to improve processes. Lilay’s principal desire is to continuously drive improvement and create efficiencies.
