Meet Jeff

Jeff is the managing principal of the Spokane office and a licensed structural engineer, focused on industrial projects. His industrial background includes the design of cranes, crane runway systems, fleet facilities, fall protection, paint hangars, grain bins, aluminum manufacturing facilities, mobile and overland mining equipment, concrete reservoirs, shoring, mining facilities, bridge travelers, elevated platforms, gas piping support and structures, and construction engineering at dams and bridges. Jeff also works closely with our mechanical industrial department on complex structures and equipment that require a combination of finite element and matrix structural analysis. In addition to his industrial background, he also has experience with DoD, commercial, healthcare, emergency services, higher-ed, and multi-family residential structures.

As an experienced project manager, Jeff maintains an ongoing line of communication with members of the project team from project inception through completion and emphasizes attention to design detail and project constructability. His ability to understand the owners’ and contractors’ needs and problems, as well as providing timely construction support, makes him a valuable part of the construction team.

Jeff’s commitment to Coffman extends beyond technical skill as he focuses significant effort on the health of Coffman’s culture, business, and people. He is deeply invested in the development of employees through mentorship and programs for employee success and well-being.
