Meet Bryan
Bryan is a fire protection engineering principal in the D.C. Metro office. Bryan is a licensed fire protection engineer in Maryland and Virginia, and his experience includes fire protection design and consulting, code assessments, and life safety evaluations for various building types. Bryan takes pride in supporting the mission of the United States government and focuses his engineering efforts on large government projects, including the Navy, Air Force, Space Force, Army, and intelligence community. In addition to consulting, Bryan has a strong skillset in business development centered on relationship and trust building.
Bryan earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Fire Protection Engineering from the University of Maryland. Bryan frequently speaks to the fire protection department classes and organizations about the consulting field and career development. In 2015, he developed an entrepreneurial class focused on product development in the field of fire protection, which is still offered yearly to the top Juniors in the program.
Outside of his typical duties, Bryan has served in multiple positions with the local SFPE Chapter and the University of Maryland Fire Protection Alumni Association. These connections and relationships have been beneficial in the recruitment of fire protection engineers to Coffman positions across the United States.
