Meet Bill
William (Bill) is a mechanical engineering principal advisor in our Anchorage office. He has provided engineering design and management experience, with specific Alaskan experience since 1982. Bill’s experience covers all phases of project design from budget cost projections, preliminary inspections and system analysis, to construction administration and final inspections. As engineer of record, Bill has performed thousands of mechanical projects, and has designed all phases of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, industrial ventilation, and fuel piping systems. He has also been an active participant in forensic evaluations, troubleshooting, and design charrettes that have performed for clients, and he is engaged in performing quality control and quality assurance for our designs, specifications, reports, and studies.
Using his knowledge and experience, Bill enjoys training and mentoring younger engineers to enhance the quality and consistency of Coffman’s engineering and design products. Bill has also participated in several short term engineering mission trips with Engineering Ministries International (eMi) to provide master planning and design of mechanical, water, and wastewater systems for churches, hospitals, schools, summer camps for orphans, and other similar facilities, and is writing a mechanical design guide for use by engineering designers who participate in eMi projects.
