MEET BILL
Bill Anderson, PE is a principal and licensed fire protection engineer with more than 20 years of experience delivering fire protection and life safety solutions for complex facilities. His career in the industry began early, working summers installing fire sprinkler systems for his family’s fire sprinkler business, giving him hands‑on experience that continues to shape his practical, constructable approach to engineering.
Bill’s experience includes fire and life safety consulting using federal Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC), California Building and Fire Codes (CBC, CFC), International Building and Fire codes (IBC, IFC), and NFPA codes and standards. He is skilled in code consulting, design review, and inspection and testing of fire alarm/mass notification, detection, fire suppression, fire pump, and special hazard suppression systems. His project experience includes hospitals, educational facilities, hotels and resorts, child development centers, office buildings, laboratories, aircraft hangars, simulators, military facilities, mess halls, warehouse and storage facilities, and one and two-unit public and private family dwellings.
A significant portion of Bill’s career has focused on federal and DoD projects. Formerly a civilian engineer with Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Southwest, he brings deep insight into federal processes, criteria, and delivery methods, including Design‑Build. Bill supports and expands federal services across the country, serving as a trusted advisor to clients and internal teams while helping drive growth in Southern California.
Bill holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Fire Protection Engineering from the University of Maryland.
Outside of work, Bill enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons. He also appreciates golf, travel, great food, and live music whenever time allows. Previously, he has served as a coach for the boys varsity lacrosse team of a local high school and he hopes to return to the sidelines one day.
