Meet Alan
Alan is a principal advisor in Coffman’s Bay Area office. He joined Coffman in July 2023 as part of the asset purchase agreement with RGD Acoustics.
As an accomplished acoustical consultant, Alan has many years of experience in the areas of environmental noise, architectural acoustics, and mechanical noise and vibration. He has managed and prepared noise sections for environmental impact reports/statements, noise elements of general plans, and feasibility/land use studies. In the area of architectural acoustics and mechanical noise, he has made recommendations for optimizing room acoustics and sound isolation for a variety of public and private buildings ranging from small residences to large complex developments. He has also evaluated and provided recommendations to address noise and vibration resulting from mechanical equipment, occupant activities, and transit.
