Waikiki Springs Bridge

Coffman provided civil, surveying, structural, and bridge engineering services for the Inland Northwest Land Conservatory’s Waikiki Springs Bridge located in Spokane, Washington. The project included inspection and evaluation of the existing bridge structure, design of the deck replacement and superstructure improvements, and load rating of the rehabilitated bridge structure. Precast concrete deck panels were chosen to reduce the construction schedule and provide the durability needed for the new service life. The rehabilitated structure provides pedestrian access to the Waikiki Springs Nature Preserve as well as vehicular access for maintenance and utility trucks.
