The Battery at SunTrust Park

The Battery Atlanta is a mixed-use destination for Braves Baseball fans to visit before and after the game. Along with owners’ representative, JLL, and Wakefield Beasley, Coffman provided fire protection and life safety consulting for the development surrounding the stadium that includes the retail, residential, parking, office, and entertainment buildings.

A major component of the complex was the high-rise office tower and connected Plaza, which was shared with SunTrust Park as well as a 16 story OMNI hotel. The mixed-use development also included four multi-family blocks (534-units), with street level retail, designed utilizing a podium configuration and integrated parking garage. Additionally, the development included an Entertainment Block, comprised of a 3,800 seat intimate concert venue and a four-story Class A office building.
