San Diego Zoo Safari Park Lion Camp

This complete remodel project included new rock work moats, viewing barriers/enclosures, holding buildings, glass viewing, viewing structures and elevated walkways. Lion Camp is designed to immerse visitors into the world of these majestic creatures. The first area of the enclosure integrates a 60-foot-long glass viewing window with boulders that can be heated in cold weather or cooled in hot weather, encouraging the lions to stay close to the visitors.
