Portland Airport Electric Vehicle Charging

Coffman partnered with the Portland International Airport to support the growing demand for sustainable transportation by delivering civil, structural, and electrical engineering design for a new electric vehicle (EV) charging installation at the airport’s rental car center. The project included the deployment of ten dual-dispenser EV chargers, enhancing the airport’s infrastructure to accommodate the increasing number of electric rental vehicles. Coffman’s multidisciplinary approach supported seamless integration of the charging systems into the existing facility, aligning with the airport’s broader sustainability goals and commitment to innovation.
